“Where you wear your blush ultimately depends on your face shape,” explains Carly Giglio, bareMinerals Global Makeup Artist. “If you have a rounder face, begin by applying your blush further back on your face, closer to your hair line, to create an elongated look. Whereas if you have a narrow face, focus your blush on to the apples of your cheeks to create a rounder appearance.”

Layering is your friend

The makeup artist trick for creating long-wearing and natural-looking makeup is to layer. Giglio says, “When applying blush with highlighter and bronzer, apply in this order: highlighter, bronzer, blush.” Then spend some time blending the three so they blur into one another without any harsh edges.

How to create sun kissed blush
