To apply with ORIGINAL or MATTE Loose Mineral Foundation:
SWIRL a small amount of foundation in the cap until it disappears into the brush.
TAP away any excess.
BUFF onto your skin in circular motions. This activates the minerals and transforms them from a powder to a silky cream. Repeat until you’ve achieved the coverage you want, from sheer to full.
I have used Bare Minerals for many years , this is the only makeup I use. Keeps my skin glowing and natural looking I am over 60

The Flawless Face brush was better
I've been using the Flawless brush for years with the original loose foundation and it worked great. BM no longer sells it so I tried the Beautiful Finish Foundation brush, which seems to be the replacement option. It doesn't seem to be depositing much foundation on my face. I only need medium coverage and have difficulty getting even light coverage with this brush. The foundation seems to all be absorbed into the bristles and stays there. It's difficult to swirl the brush gently against the skin since the bristles are very dense. The brush wipes away the concealer I put on first. Did not have that problem with the Flawless brush which could easily be worked lightly. (Note: the Full Flawless is not an option for me - it applies heavier coverage than I need.) On the plus side, this brush is very soft.
